The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia (SWVA, Inc.) is hiring for the position Production Foreman. This position is an hourly position and is eligible for overtime.

We are seeking a seasoned Production Foreman with a background doing hands-on supervision in a heavy-manufacturing, continuous-production process.

Steel mill experience preferred, but not a requirement.

This Foreman will manage hourly unionized crews of five to twenty employees. You need to be willing and able to work in hot and cold environments; do heavy lifting.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent people skills, strong math and mechanical abilities, and the energy to excel.

We seek someone with the ability and willingness to work right alongside our bargaining unit workforce and motivate them to top performance.

The following backgrounds would be helpful for this job: (1) Someone who has grown up on a farm; (2) Someone who began their career working production or maintenance and risen into management; (3) Someone who works as a production lead. A background with mechanical engineering studies combined with experience doing hands on work is a strong plus.
