The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia has an opening for Melt Shop Shift Supervisor.

Responsible for the supervision of personnel and operations in the EAF including:

• Safety of personnel
• Quality of product
• Production rates
• Maintenance
• Enforcement of company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Required:

• Previous Electric Arc Furnace experience
• Proven track record as a leader regarding safety
• Excellent communication skills and experience
• Good leadership skills and experience
• Demonstrated capability to coach and mentor
• Experience with high levels of responsibility and decision making
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Must be self-motivated and possess a strong desire for continuous improvement

Preferred:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Process Line experience and extensive experience with process equipment
• Strong computer skills
