The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions Industrial Electricians.

 

Starting pay is $28.85 per hour.  After each probationary period of 225 hours is completed successfully, pay is increased by $1.00/hr. After the full probationary period of 675 hours is completed successfully the full rate is $31.85 per hour. Time and one half for hours over 40 and double time for work on a seventh consecutive day. We also offer Incentive Bonus each week and Profit Sharing twice a year.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to install, adjust, modify and repair all mill electrical, electronic, automation and drive equipment as required by Supervisors/Managers
  • Demonstrate successful electrical troubleshooting experience, including instrumentation and AC/DC motor controls
  • Other duties as required

If you have experience as a HVAC ELECTRICAL TECH/SERVICE TECH, you are encouraged to apply! Often, individuals with this work experience are a great fit.

Qualifications

  • Industrial experience is required
  • Responsibility to read and interpret wiring diagrams and analyze electrical problems
  • Thorough knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting and knowledge of AC & DC drive installation, programming and troubleshooting is a must
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
